K-12 STUDENTS: OUR TALENT PIPELINE.

Coding the Coal Region wants to establish a talent pipeline of computer programmers in NEPA.  Our goal is to eliminate barriers and ensure that every student in Luzerne County has access to computer programming courses.

OUR GOAL

To be eligible to participate in the Coding the Coal Region program, you must be a student (grades 6-12) in Luzerne County...and a desire to expand your knowledge.  All courses are offered for FREE, and requires a device and internet access.

ELIGIBILITY

We offer instructor-led, online courses, outside the classroom, allowing students an opportunity to build basic computer programming foundations while also offering pathways in Graphic Design and Web, Game, and App Development.
